The first step of your first visit is:
Find the cause of your ailment. A comprehensive assessment of your system to identify areas of weakness.
Depending on your symptoms, we review:
1. Lifestyle and Nutritional Habits
2. Basic Vital Signs
3. Urine Analysis to check your renal system
4. Glucose Levels to detect diabetes
5. Basic Lipid Panel to check for cardiovascular risk for strokes or heart attacks
6. Quantum Bio-Magnetic Analysis to check for hormonal, vitamin, and mineral deficiencies
7. L.I.F.E. Bio-Resonance to check for weak cells, tissues, organs, and emotional stress
8. Electrocardiogram to detect cardiac arrhythmias
Not all of these procedures are performed on all patients; only those that correspond to the patient's symptoms. If necessary, other procedures can be performed.
The first visit lasts between 2 and 3 hours; therefore, we require a scheduled appointment.
Clinic hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. You can contact us at 832-282-2049.
Think of your body as a smoothly running machine. Just as any machine needs the right fuel and parts to run well, your body needs good nutrition to stay strong and heal. When you get sick or injured, your body begins to repair itself, much like fixing a broken toy. To help it do this quickly and well, you need to give it the right "tools" and "energy." That's where healthy food comes in!
Here are some simple ways healthy nutrition helps you heal:
1. Vitamins and Minerals: These are like the special tools your body needs. For example, vitamin C (found in oranges and strawberries) helps your body heal wounds and fight infections. Calcium (in milk and yogurt) helps keep bones strong.
2. Protein: Think of protein as the building blocks of your body. It helps repair muscles and tissues. Foods like chicken, beans, and eggs are full of protein.
3. Water: Just as a plant needs water to grow, your body needs water to stay hydrated and help all its parts function properly. A general rule of thumb is to drink 1/2 ounce of water for every pound you weigh. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water per day. The exact amount you should drink depends on many factors.
4. Healthy Fats: They're like the oil in your machine. They help your body absorb vitamins and keep your cells running well. You can find them in things like avocados and nuts. Eating a variety of these foods helps your body get all the right nutrients it needs to heal faster and feel better. So, when you're trying to get better after being sick or injured, remember to eat a mix of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and drink plenty of water.
Imagine your body is like a balloon. When you're stressed or worried, it's like blowing air into that balloon. If you keep blowing, the balloon could pop! Managing stress is like letting some of that air out so the balloon doesn't pop. When you're stressed, your body feels it in many ways. It can make you feel tired, give you headaches, or even make it harder to recover from an illness. Here's why managing stress is important for health:
1. Immune System: Stress can weaken your immune system, which helps you fight off germs and illnesses. If you manage stress well, your immune system can stay strong and help you heal faster.
2. Sleep: Stress can make it difficult to get restful sleep. And if you don't get enough sleep, your body doesn't have the chance to rest and repair itself. Managing stress helps you sleep better, which helps you get better.
3. Energy Levels: When you're stressed, you may feel drained or tired. Managing stress can help you feel more energized and ready to face your health.
4. Mood: Stress can make you feel sad or upset, which can affect your overall well-being. Finding ways to relax and feel happier can facilitate the healing process.
Therefore, it's important to find ways to relax and manage stress. This can include things like talking with friends or family, doing something you enjoy, exercising, or even practicing deep breathing. Our stress management team will teach you how to incorporate these tools to help you manage stress, help your body stay strong, and get back to feeling better faster.
Aging gracefully is like taking good care of a favorite toy so that it stays enjoyable and works well for a long time. It means staying healthy and feeling good as you age. Here's how self-discipline, good nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle help with that:
1. Self-discipline: This is like having the ability to maintain good habits even when it's difficult. For example, if you decide to exercise regularly or avoid too many sugary snacks, self-discipline helps you maintain those good habits, which keeps your body and mind strong as you age.
2. Good nutrition: Eating healthy foods is like giving your body the best fuel. When you eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, your body gets the vitamins and minerals it needs to stay strong. This helps you feel good and stay active as you age.
3. Healthy lifestyle: This means doing things that are good for your body and mind. It includes exercising regularly, drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep, and managing stress. A healthy lifestyle helps keep your body in good shape, your mind sharp, and your mood positive.
When you practice self-discipline to maintain good habits, eat nutritious foods, and live a healthy lifestyle, you are helping your body stay strong and feel good as you age. It's like taking great care of a toy so it lasts a long time and remains fun to play with! Today's environment challenges us daily with toxic preservatives, pollution, fast-paced living, and more. The body not only needs self-discipline, healthy nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle, but it also requires detoxification to eliminate all harmful elements from the body in order to be healthy.
